Faith Sisters: Firm Resolution in Christ - Creative Healing Challenge

I had an idea to have a challenge that will help us to develop positive change, healing, and growth in our lives. Each month I will put out an invite to various designers with a subject and color palette and if they would like to participate they can put together a mini-kit to place in their store that will help others make a layout pertaining to the subject.

To participate you don't have to use the kits, but items will be made that are geared around the subject to help you create a page. I will also have a digital freebie made that you can use... as other designers may choose to do the same and I will have a digital prize to give for participation as well. I would like for you to use the color palette that will be given.

Do you find yourself setting the same resolutions each year since you didn't succeed in the changes? Maybe you have, but not as well as you would like. I have found that success only comes through Christ and the only thing that I have to offer is surrender to Him and He brings about the change or the success in completing the task.

Here are some scriptures the Lord led me to when searching His Word for content on resolutions or plans:

Proverbs 16:9
In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps.

Psalm 37:23
The LORD makes firm the steps of those who delight in him;

1 Corinthians 15:58
Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

Hebrews 3:14
We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold firmly till the end our original conviction.

So what do you need to do for this challenge?
1. Use the below color swatch, paper scrappers use what you have that may be close to these colors.

2. Make a layout expressing your resolutions and commit them to Christ...it can be done through a list using the freebie given or make your own.

3. We have made kits to help in completing your layout and have made them affordable. We would sure appreciate you purchasing and using them, but its not required as the important thing is committing to Christ and sharing your resolutions and plans with others to add to the accountability.

4. When completed place your project into the coordinating gallery and this weeks challenge category. For those not using the swatch or those who are paper scrappers who will not have these colors in their scrapbooking stash, please load your challenge into the weekly challenge gallery instead.

5. Then, for those who are doing this challenge for the digital goodies, go into our forum thread and let me know its completed.

6. Allow at least a week for me (Karla) to respond and send you your digital participation bonus if you would like it.
