My Lifetime Story Challenge 22- Life Before Children

Life before kids? Wow it is hard to remember!

Describe a day or week in your life before children.

Were you a career woman?
What did you do in your spare time?
What were your favorite hobbies?
What were your favorite places to hang out?
What did you do with all that time?

Be sure to follow this challenge in our forum and post your page in our gallery under the appropriate category! If you are a digital scrapbooker, be sure to find some great products in our shop to help you with your project!

Hi there, I've recently started following this blog, and although I'm not doing this challenge in real time, it's a great project and I hope to do some pages inspired by it in the future.

I wanted to suggest that you please take time each week to consider alternate topics for those whose lives do not include the situations or relationships that are the subject of your primary page suggestion.

I've never been married and don't have kids, so this week and the last two weeks haven't been relevant to me. However, I did notice on some prior topics, there have been alternate suggestions. For example, on the week about siblings, the alternate suggestion was to make a page about someone who is "like a sibling to you."

For the prior two weeks about finding true love and about marriage, it could be something like "create a page about a marriage that has inspired you." For this week, it could be a page about having nieces or nephews or about a favorite childhood memory or something.

Whatever it is, any effort made to be inclusive will be appreciated.

The previous commenter makes an excellent point! I think these challenges are wonderful, and it's great to give everyone a chance to participate fully.
